Local Missions - Matthew 25:35-39

In Matthew 25:35-39 Jesus said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.  I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.  I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

NPC members teach English as a second language on Saturday mornings at the Church. Numerous times a year we assist the American Red Cross in blood drives at Neelsville. With the cooperation of Montgomery County, Neelsville teaches faith-based job-readiness courses at the Clarksburg jail for those persons who will be re-entering the community. Other annual events at Neelsville include the Christmas Giving Tree which provides low-income children and their families with food and presents; and collections throughout the year of non-perishable food items, formula and diapers go to Germantown and Damascus Help for distribution.
