Pastor's Message

Dear Friend, 

            Thanks for visiting our website! Hopefully you are finding out what you need to know. If you are on this page, I suspect you are trying to find out a little bit more about the Associate Pastor.
             I hope you won’t be disappointed if I tell you that the really important information about the church has very little to do with me. The Person who truly matters in our church is our Lord Jesus Christ, whom we seek to follow. We believe that Christ is the Head of the church, and we are members of His Body. So, each one of us has certain gifts to use and a role to play as this body tries to represent Christ to the world. I’m grateful that I’m able to play a part in what God is doing in and through this community of faith.
             That said, a website can hardly do this congregation (or any congregation) justice! God is bigger than that! If you want to see how God is at work among us, I invite you to come check us out. The commitment of God’s people to one another, to worship, to study, to prayer, and to mission is something that is somewhat hard to communicate electronically. You have to be here to experience it.
             I hope you will consider joining us for worship sometime. That’s the best way to meet us—even better than a website! In the meantime, may God bless you!
