Sunday Morning Activities

During the school year, we gather to worship God at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m on Sundays.  Our worship is both reverent and relaxed; a blend of contemporary and traditional styles that seek to bring glory and praise to God.

Children are welcome in our worship services, and there is also childcare available for children younger than kindergarten age.

Education:

Between worship services, from 9:40 to 10:40, Neelsville offers Christian education programs for people ages 2 through 102. We believe that discipleship is a life-long process and seek to offer many opportunities to love the Lord with all our minds.  Check out the Adult Ministries section of the website for up-to-date class information.

Fellowship:

Once classes let out (around 10:40 or so) we gather together for a cup of coffee and a bite to eat, looking for old friends and new faces.

Preaching:

A hallmark of the Reformed tradition is the centrality of the Bible in our worship.  We believe that God's Word can truly change lives, and so we eagerly hear it read and proclaimed each Sunday.  Neelsville is committed to expositional preaching, which is a method of preaching that takes a particular passage of Scripture, draws out its meaning, and then applies the meaning of the passage to our lives here and now.  We are thankful that God is faithful to speak to us each time we open his Word together!

We hope you'll join us this Sunday and introduce yourself!

If you are unable to attend in person, our sermons and weekly bulletins are available online.
