Children in the Worship Services
Worship is the lifeblood of our Christian life. Young children are welcomed as rightful participants in worship services. They learn to worship by worshiping, and parents worship through their ministry to their children. Children’s bulletins are available from the ushers as you enter the sanctuary. Worship Kits for children can be found in the narthex, and should be returned after the service. There is a Children’s Sermon during the 11:00 am service, all children through fifth grade are invited to come forward and participate. After the Children’s Sermon, children up through kindergarten may exit to the young Children’s Room. Children in first-grade and above should return to their seats.
Childcare is available for infants and children up to four years of age (during the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services). Our nursery for infants/toddlers (up to two years) is staffed by permanent care givers. Toddler room (#5) is for two and four year olds, or parents may choose to worship with their children in the narthex where they can listen to the service. If you need help finding the nursery, an usher will assist you.
Sunday School
Neelsville offers Christian education programs for people ages 2 through senior high and adult. New volunteers are always welcome to help out in this important task. See the church bulletin or contact the church office for more information.
